THE ANIMAL SCIENCE AND ETHICS DAY – A SUCCESS STORY/ November 9, 2019
Happily we announce that the ABS Animal Science and Ethics Day 2019 has been very successful. The event was completely booked out with a total of 70 attandees from the Universities of Bern, Zürich, Lausanne, Geneva and Neuchatel. The morning talks covered a broad spectrum of topics related to animal experimentation. In the afternoon, the interactive workshops, organized by members of the think-tank reatch, took place. It was a very interesting kind of knowledge transfer for both sides, the organization commitee as well as for the attandees.
The day ended with the key-note lecture presented by Prof. Dr. Hanno Würbel from the VetSuisse faculty Bern. He summarized the different topics discussed during the day. Besides the lectures and the workshops, it was quite important for us to give the attandees enough time and space for discussions and socializing.
In the end, there is nothing left to say than than you to all the speaker and workshop disussion leaders!
